Trez Capital names new executive managing director, global head of capital raising

Trez Capital has promoted Vikram Rajagopalan to executive managing director, global head of capital raising.

Rajagopalan brings nearly 20 years of experience in the investment management industry to the role. After joining the firm in 2013, Rajagopalan was promoted in 2016 to vice president, retail sales and national accounts; and in 2020 to senior vice president, head of retail markets. Rajagopalan has been responsible for leading all retail capital-raising activities for the past five years, and has expanded Trez Capital's footprint with major retail institutions.

Before joining Trez Capital, Rajagopalan was vice president of client relations at a boutique private wealth-management firm serving and sourcing high net-worth clients. He started his career with one of Canada's largest independent mutual-fund firms.
