The Honor 60 has debuted in China with a Snapdragon 778G SoC and a 120 Hz display. The smartphone contains plenty of hardware also found in the Honor 60 Pro, but with a few sprinklings from the Honor 50 series too.

Honor has announced the Honor 60, a cheaper alternative to the Honor 60 Pro. The Honor 60 arrives in four colours and with Android 12, like the Honor 60 Pro. Similarly, it has a 120 Hz display, a 108 MP primary camera and a 4,800 mAh battery, mirroring the Honor 60 Pro. There are several differences between the pair, though.

For one, the Honor 60 has a smaller display than its Pro sibling. Honor has equipped the former with a 6.67-inch curved panel, albeit not a quad-curved one. The Honor 60 also has a Snapdragon 778G SoC, the same one that Honor used in the Honor 50 series. By contrast, the Honor 60 Pro has a slightly faster Snapdragon 778G Plus.

Additionally, the Honor 60 makes do with the 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera from its predecessor but shares the Pro's 2 MP depth sensor. Moreover, the Honor 60 has a 32 MP front-facing camera, seemingly the same one as its predecessor has.

The Honor 60 will be orderable in China from December 10, but it is pre-orderable today. The smartphone starts at CNY 2,699 (~US$424) with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, making it considerably cheaper than the entry-level Honor 60 Pro. Honor also sells the Honor 60 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage for CNY 2,999 (~US$471) or with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage for CNY 3,299 (~US$519).
