New World patch 1.1.1 patch notes show the abysmal state of the game

Amazon
New World - Aeternum has become desolate with so many players leaving

Apparently, the Amazon development team is continually working on improving the New World experience and they thank you all for your patience and reports that you continue to make on the official forums, but is that true, though?

The last patch of November which went live today is a sorry sight indeed. It is barely one page long, with the changes and updates listed being ones that are either already resolved with the previous patch, or were hotfixed after the last one.

"In our latest update, we made a mistake that treated all tiers of the in-game Horticulture harvesting gear as future content, and unintentionally removed them from the game. We apologize for this bug that has caused you to lose some items you rightfully earned. If you have lost an acquired piece of Harvester Armor you should have an extra Rewards Chest in your Inventory after this update," the developers say. This took up one-fourth of the whole patch notes and is something we knew a long time ago. The worst thing is this is not an actual fix to an issue, but reimbursement for a mistake on the developer side of things.

Amazon New World - Horticulture will save the game, surely

Furthermore, another large part of the "patch notes", is the explanation of the crafting exp changes. From what we can gather, the changes in question are not any new changes, but old ones and the developers are trying to explain their thinking on why they implemented them, long after the implementation took place.

The rest of the "patch notes" are a compilation of various bug fixes, which were, again, already made and announced on forums, and nothing new is to be gleaned from this week's update. Have Amazon given up from their game just like 84% of their fan base has?
