Strolling carolers, live musicians in select stores, downtown carriage rides, and more are part of Downtown Warrensburg's Dickens' Christmas this Saturday, December 4, 2021.

Warrensburg's Dickens' Christmas is happening from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST. In addition to the above, there will be a Pop-Up Winter Warrensburg Farmers' Market on Market Street. Artisans will be demonstrating their craftsmanship in storefront windows. And chestnuts will be roasting on an open fire.

Father Christmas will be in town too, although he's decided to skip his sleigh and arrive on Amtrak's Missouri River Runner scheduled to stop in Warrensburg at 9:34 AM CST.

Additionally, Warrensburg Mainstreet is offering a couple of tasting opportunities as well. The first is the Tiny Tim Soup Stroll from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM CST. Participants can stop in participating businesses and sample soup and help choose the winner of the 2021 Tiny Tim Soup Stroll.

Scrooge's Spirit Stroll is happening from 2:00 - 4:00 PM CST. Businesses will have warm adult beverages for participants to sample while they browse and shop.

There is a cost for each of the above two events. The soup stroll registration is $5.00 per taster, and the spirit stroll registration is $15.00. If you're interested in participating in either of these events you can register on the Warrensburg Main Street website.

While you're enjoying Warrensburg's transformation back to the 1840s don't forget to enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and support some of Downtown Warrensburg's wonderful local businesses. Or warm up and enjoy a couple of adult beverages and a snack at one of Pine Street's wonderful restaurants or pubs.
