Rockstar Games has announced a delay for the physical releases of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.

The technologically-troubled triple pack was supposed to head to shop shelves in physical form on December 6. However, according to a tweet from the publisher, the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PS4 versions will now land on December 17. It’s worse news for those on the Nintendo Switch, with their version pushed to the vague ‘Early 2022’.

On the positive side, Rockstar released the latest patch for the digital versions of the trilogy at the same time. Patch 1.03 is the latest attempt for Grove Street Games to make good, and includes a litany of tweaks and changes. These include things like stability improvements, but also much-requested changes like adding cloud cover at high altitudes.

More issues fixed in the new update include rain appearing in cutscenes, holes in the game world and missing textures. There’s also a few platform specific fixes, including a nasty bug that left PC players unable to save their progress. You can check out the full patch notes right over here.

It’s fair to say Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has had an incredibly rocky launch. Josh reviewed the package for us last month if you’re interested, and you can read that over here.
