The SSO was founded in 1918 and is the longest continually active orchestra in the state. In addition to the holiday concert, the symphony's 103rd season includes four concerts between October and May, each led by a different music director as the SSO completes a competitive three-year process to fill the position. Remaining concerts and guest conductors include 7:30 p.m. March 12 with Ernesto Estigarribia and 7:30 p.m. May 7 with Sergey Bogza.
