Tess Daly took to Instagram on Tuesday (29 November 2021) to show off her Christmas tree and it’s pretty mega.
The Strictly Come Dancing host uploaded a series of shots of the decor and could be seen hanging the last bauble dressed in a Mickey Mouse Christmas jumper.
Captioning the carousel, she wrote: “The girls and I put the tree up last night (oh and we used Vernon for the ones at the top 😂), so just put some finishing touches on today in my Christmas jumper! ✨
“My favourite part of this time of year is getting out all of the decorations we’ve collected over the years that the girls have made at school, and the ones from their first Christmases! 🥺 So cute, feeling festive, bring on the mince pies 😍🎄”.
Fans were quick to comment on how much they loved the fact the family opted for bright and colourful decor rather than a colour coordinated tree that is all the rage right now.
One wrote: “Our tree is not colour coordinated and it has all the decorations the kids made too. More character to the tree I think”, while another wrote: “Love the fact it is a traditional family Christmas tree and not a fashionable colour coordinated version. True family 🙌🙌”, and a third put: “Yay!!! Love this! You guys are so grounded - it’s great to see a tree that’s not all matching but is full of beautiful memories, this is what we do, but I didn’t think many other people do! ❤️”.
