Crystal Dynamics has offered fans a deeper dive on the new content coming in today’s patch for Marvel’s Avengers, which includes an endgame raid and, on PlayStation, Spider-Man.

The latest War Table broadcast breaks down the details. The new Discordant Sound raid’s story is set after the events of War for Wakanda. Corrupted Vibranium has now infested the Great Mound and is spreading through the Wakandan jungles. It’ll take the mightiest of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to take on elite enemies and puzzles stop Klaw from wreaking havoc.

As previously established, the new update also raises the maximum power level of heroes in the game from 150 to 175. Said heroes can boost their power via rewards from the Omega Level Threat: Family Reunion and Discordant Sounds weekly objectives. If you manage to make it to PL 160, you can even take on a super-hard version of Discordant Sound.

On top of those, other additions include Shipments and, for PlayStation players, the arrival of Spider-Man. PS5 and PS4 owners can access the With Great Power Hero Event directly from the War Table within the Avengers Initiative. Spidey’s got his own abilities, heroics and powers that you can get to grips with via hero-specific challenges and rewards.
