PITTSBURGH — On Tuesday night, Pitt fell to the Minnesota Gophers, 54-53, in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
Pitt’s John Hugley delivered an excellent performance in the loss, snagging a career-high 14 rebounds and scoring 25 points for his third double-double of the year.
With the loss, the Panthers fall to 2-5.

i know they just lost a close game but could there be a worse post game briefing. Where was Capel. . . why wasn’t he answering questions from Pittsburgh’s sports reporters? I guess he didn’t want to have to answer when he was going to be fired.

Not sure what you’re talking about. Video clearly shows Capel answering reporters questions after the game.
