There is little doubt that Alice in Borderland was going to get a second season. After all, the first season concluded on a cliffhanger and it didn't take long before Netflix renewed the series for Season 2.
But when can we expect to see Alice in Borderland Season 2? It was initially believed that the second season would begin production in early 2021 and will be released by the end of the year. Sadly, this isn't what happened and fans are still waiting for an update on the Second Stage. Luckily, Netflix Geeked has just confirmed that the show is part of the streaming service's 2022 lineup.
For now, the Alice in Borderland Season 2 release date has not yet been revealed. However, it is assuring to know that we can expect to find out what happens when the face cards are put into play next year.
The second season of Alice in Borderland is expected to feature the second phase of the Borderlands games known as the Second Stage. During this phase, the players go up against civilians, the people who have chosen to live in the Borderlands. The only way to win a game is to defeat the civilian who serves as the dealer.
Alice in Borderland Season 2 will bring back Kento Yamazaki as Arisu, Tao Tsuchiya as Usagi, Nijirō Murakami as Chishiya, and Aya Asahina as Kuina. They will be joined by Riisa Naka, who is expected to return as Mira, the former executive member of The Beach who turned out to be a Game Master.
