NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-A North Platte man was arrested on numerous felony allegations following a disturbance on Sunday.
Police said at around 11:23 p.m., officers responded to the area of West Anna Ave. and Buffalo Bill Ave. on the report of a suspicious vehicle.
Additionally, police said it was reported that a disturbance had occurred earlier in the same area and a subject had been threatened with a gun.
As officers responded, they reported hearing several gunshots in the area.
A short time later, police said officers made contact with a vehicle occupied by Shaun Ramey, 33, and an unidentified male subject.
Police said officers also made contact with the alleged victim, who reported they had been at a residence with Ramey and the other male when an argument ensued.
During the argument, the victim told officers Ramey produced a handgun and made threats toward them.
Police said officers located a firearm and spent shell casings in the vehicle where Ramey was sitting.
As a result of the investigation, Ramey was placed under arrest without incident on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, terroristic threats, possession of a firearm while committing a felony and discharge of a firearm at a building, person or vehicle.
Ramey was jailed at the Lincoln County Detention Center.
No injuries were reported.
