(670 The Score) Utilityman Leury Garcia has agreed to a three-year deal to return to the White Sox, according to multiple reports Tuesday afternoon.

Garcia, 30, is the longest-tenured White Sox player, having joined them in 2013. He hit .267 with five homers, 54 RBIs and a .711 OPS in 126 games in 2021.

Garcia is expected to continue in his utility role while filling an everyday role if a void emerges, James Fegan of the Athletic reported. The White Sox currently have a job opening at second base after they traded Nick Madrigal to the Cubs last season and then declined Cesar Hernandez’s option for 2022, making him a free agent.

Garcia has hit .259 with a .666 OPS in nine MLB seasons.
