Sacramento Kings center Tristan Thompson successfully got a fan kicked out of a game Sunday night between the Kings and the Memphis Grizzlies.

Apparently, the fan had been heckling players all night, and stepped over the line. He brought Thompson's family into it, with comments about Khloe Kardashian.

That prompted Thompson to bring the referee over to the fan and have him booted from the game. It is reminiscent of what LeBron James did last week.

New York Post writer Jenna Lemoncelli detailed the incident Sunday.

With just under 10 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter, Thompson was seen visibly bothered. Grizzlies beat writer Drew Hill reported that the fan was making comments about his family.

After the game, Kings head coach Alvin Gentry did not confirm the topics thrown onto the court by the fan. But he acknowledged that the fan had said inappropriate things.

“I think if you buy a ticket, you have the right to boo guys, you have the right to cheer for your team, but inappropriate things are never what people should say… it's not anything I am going to tolerate being said to my players.”

This is very similar the LeBron James situation. Last week, in a game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Indiana Pacers, James walked referees over to a couple of fans who were making inappropriate comments. Security eventually removed them from the game.

Sunday night, it happened again and the refs made the same call. Security removed the fan from the game.
