Will We Ever See a Show on "The Real Husbands"? Here's What Andy Cohen Has to Say

The WWHL host spills the tea about the husbands, as well as other juicy topics.

As any Bravo fan knows, the hubbys behind the Real Housewives, from time to time, have had their own singular moments to shine and to stir up the drama. Whether it's been sharing spicy marriage secrets, making a mean bolognese, or putting the "G" in "G.V.O.," the husbands have certainly played a role in bringing happiness and support to the lives of the 'Wives over the years. And for those among us who've ever wondered why the husbands haven't been front and center in terms of having their own spin-off, Andy Cohen just revealed one of the reasons.

How to Watch

Tune in to WWHL on Bravo Sunday through Thursday and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host recently spilled all when the subject came up in an edition of Ask Andy (clip above) with the Bravo Clubhouse audience. After a member of the audience asked Andy if he ever thought about doing a show on the husbands, the WWHL host responded, "We did think of doing a househusbands show." He went on to explain, "We developed a show called The Real Husbands of Orange County, and we cast a bunch of husbands, and, the truth is, guys are kinda boring — no offense!"

As Andy further shared, it was several seasons into The Real Housewives of Orange County that a show focused on the husbands was first considered, then later put aside. The WWHL host also revealed his thoughts on several other buzzy topics, including the Bravolebrity product that he actually uses on a regular basis, as well as what he really thinks about a certain Housewife's singing voice. Check out the above clip to find out more!

This isn't the first time Andy has talked about potential spin-off shows. As Bravo fans have seen the kids of the Real Housewives grow up, from birth announcements to celebrating bat mitzvahs, the question of whether there might ever be a show on the lives of the Real Housekids has come up. Previously, in an interview with The Daily Dish, Andy answered that very question. "I mean, I think it could be cool. It would be wild. We'll, you know, we'll see," he said, adding, "A lot of times the kids are the ones who are keeping the parents on track."
