It is going to be a pretty dramatic festive period for the residents of Walford, with everything from a double soap wedding to a sad exit for a long-running character in the pipeline.
Recent plot rumours have also suggested that lives will be left in danger over Christmas as a bomb will be planted in Walford, with sinister newcomer Aaron (Hollyoaks star Charlie Wernham) thought to be involved as the soap's far-right storyline intensifies.
While soap bosses haven't confirmed the storyline reports as yet, a spokesperson for the soap told Digital Spy that there is a "huge winter ahead" for the characters.
