VIDEO: Suspect takes $10K worth of cellphones from man's vehicle in Brooklyn: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man is being sought in connection to the theft of dozens of cellphones worth thousands from another man’s vehicle in Brooklyn.

On Nov. 25 at about 11 a.m., a man took about 75 cellphones from a vehicle belonging to a 40-year-old victim, police said.

The exact location of the crime wasn’t provided, but police said the suspect fled on foot eastbound on Dahill Road, which is located south of Prospect Park and stretches through Kensington and Borough Park.

According to cops, the phones were valued at a combined $10,000.

The NYPD released video and photos of the suspect it is looking for.. He’s described as a 56-year-old man, 5-feet, 6-inches tall, 180 lbs. He was last seen wearing a checkered jacket, dark blue jeans and white sneakers.
