Spider-Man: No Way Home Reaches an Avengers: Endgame Record


Spider-Man: No Way Home tickets rocked the world last Monday and it even took down some sites with the number of presales and it surpassed a lot of MCU films, even those released before the pandemic, that it is at par with the record of Avengers: Endgame as one of the highest advanced selling especially since the reopening of cinemas.

Fandango proudly announced the feat of Spider-Man: No Way Home on their official Twitter account saying, “#SpiderManNoWayHome had Fandango's biggest first 24-hours in pre-sales since Avengers: Endgame.”

While the numbers weren’t disclosed by Fandango, it just means that Spider-Man: No Way Home surpassed the advanced presales of tickets even those MCU films that were released before the pandemic such as Avengers: Infinity War and its predecessor, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Star Wars titles such as The Rise of Skywalker and The Last Jedi.

The release of Spider-Man: No Way Home tickets was a chaotic victory because it shows that the demand on the movie is really high but the cost of it are sites crashing, scalpers selling tickets for an insane amount, and even having moviegoers get into a literal fight over it while waiting in line.

The multiverse is getting bigger and bigger as villains from previous Spider-Man movies are coming with Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin, Alfred Molina as Doc Ock, Jamie Foxx as Electro, Rhys Ifans as the Lizard, and Thomas Haden Church as Sandman. It is a literal “be careful what you wish for” because there may be consequences that are beyond one’s grasp.

Tom Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man and he would be joined by Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange. Also in the cast are Zendaya as MJ, Benedict Wong as Wong, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson, and Tony Revolori as Flash Thompson.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is scheduled for an exclusive theatrical release on December 17, 2021.
