A memorial service and interment will be held for Edmund “Ed” Lowell Gose, age 80, of Jefferson, will be held at at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the Christ Lutheran Church in Jefferson. Burial will take place at Jefferson Cemetery.

Memorials in Ed’s name are suggested to the Thomas Jefferson Gardens of Greene County. Donations may be made here. Slininger Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson is in charge of arrangements.

Ed is survived by his children: Cynthia (Mark) Richards of Mooresville, NC, Laura (Ross) Krieger of Boone, and Philip (Kristin) Gose of Urbandale; step children: Elizabeth (Kent) Schultz of Cedar Rapids, Angela (Michael) Ask of Underwood, and Rebecca (Jacob) Clark of Boone; sisters: Patricia Perrin of Raleigh, NC, and Margaret (Karl) Schilling of Des Moines; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
