Here's what Call of Duty: Warzone's Caldera map looks like

Caldrea, Call of Duty: Warzone’s  new map, was finally revealed on Tuesday.

Activision gave players a taste of what to expect from the map. Set somewhere in the pacific during World War 2, Caldrea is an obvious nod to Call of Duty: Vanguard. 1944 sure look beautiful in this game, that’s for certain!

There are 15 different named zones in total, including:

  • Arsenal
  • Docks
  • Runway
  • Ruins
  • Mines
  • Peak
  • Beachhead
  • Village
  • Lagoon
  • Airfield
  • Fields
  • Sub Pen
  • Power Plant
  • Capital
  • Resort

It seems to be a mix of old-school warfare with beachheads and minefield, though the resort is an interesting inclusion. Hopefully, there are some piña coladas on hand. That would nearly make up for  Caldrea’s delay

The initial tease for Caldera came from Activision Blizzard creative chief Pelle Sjoenell  by way of a strange jacket patch. Probably one of the most bizarre reveals for a game addon that there’s ever been.

The development team also recently implemented Ricochet,  its new anti-cheat system, into Call of Duty: Warzone. Cheating in the game could result in a lifetime ban from all Call of Duty  games,  even future entries. A brutal punishment, for sure, though hacking was so common that it should have come some time ago.
