Noteworthy: Sannes captured the Division 4 individual title at the CIF State championship meet at Fresno’s Woodward Park, finishing the 5,000-meter course in a time of 15 minutes, 0.5 seconds. That time was the ninth fastest across all divisions. Sannes became the fourth runner in program history to win a state title, joining Ryan Hall (1999-200), Chad Hall (2006) and Caleb Webb (2013-14). He also won the CIF Southern Section’s Division 4 individual title this season, which was the 10th time a Big Bear runner won a section title.
