What happened in Del Rio, Texas? A timeline of stories on the Haitian migrant situation

Thousands of Haitian migrants sought asylum in the United States, leading to about 14,000 at the U.S.-Mexico in Del Rio, Texas. 

The migrants, which included families with children, waited outdoors for days or weeks without adequate shelter, food or potable water. The situation caused national political uproar from the left over the treatment of Black migrants and from the right over the number of migrants seeking entry into the U.S.
