Crews are working to put out a fire in Little River Tuesday morning.

Horry County Fire Rescue said they responded to the 10-acre fire around 10:30 a.m. in the area of Highway 31 and Robert Edge Parkway.

There are no reported injuries or structures damaged, officials added.

The fire was contained around 3:13 p.m., according to Doug Wood with South Carolina Forestry Commission.

Wood added contained means there is a fire line around it and officials have good reason to believe it will stay within those lines.

Residents may see smoke in the area.
