PREMIERE: Dot Allison Drops New Out-Of-This-World-Like Lyrics Video for “Constellations”

Dot Allison is one of these artists that can create a new world just with their music. When she released her latest album, Heart-Shaped Scars, many of us fell instantly in love with her song “Constellation.” Today, Dot shares the new dreamy lyrics video for the song.

The video is filled with stars, constellations and planets. It is a perfect addition to her song that is also very dream-like and has the pure ability to take the listener on a journey between time and space. The song, as well as the video, invite you just to lean back and relax for a few minutes as the world seems more chaotic than ever. So, who doesn’t dream about traveling through space just for a little while?

Of her inspiration for writing “Constellations,” Dot says,I am interested in reading about Quantum Physics and research into our universe possibly being trans-dimensional and that this experience may be more of a Quantum shadow.” She continues, “I knew when I read of the likelihood of there being multiverses that I wanted to use the world multiverse in a song, so I managed to get it into this one. I like the single piano notes to signify stars and the random-seeming positioning of the stars and notes correlating. I like the idea of two lovers being at different parts of the universe but sharing the view of a constellation of stars as they gaze up at the sky from their different locations.”
