Lorraine Kelly has taken to Instagram to share a super sweet picture of herself as a baby to mark her 62nd birthday and St Andrew’s Day which both fall today (30 November 2021).
Uploading the black and white photo, a one-year-old Lorraine can be seen wearing a woollen bonnet, plaid trousers and a winter jumper, and cheekily smiling whilst pulling a face.
Captioning the shot, Lorraine wrote: “HAPPY ST ANDREW’S DAY which also happens to be my 62nd birthday! How did that happen. Here I am celebrating my first birthday in Ballater Street in the Gorbals xx”.
Naturally, her celebrity friends and fans were quick to comment and say Happy Birthday to the presenter. Christine Lampard, who often fills in for Lorraine on her show if she is away, wrote: “Happy Birthday Lorraine ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”, while Lorraine’s Entertainment News Presenter, Ria Hebden, wrote: “Happy Birthday lovely Lorraine! Looking forward to celebrating with you xx”.
Many followers also commented on the cute picture. One fan wrote: “Omg too cute x Happy Birthday have a wonderful day x 🎉🎉🥂🥂🥳🥳🎂🎂”, while another said: “❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️SO FLIPPIN CUTE❤️❤️❤️❤️” and a third wrote: “What a cutie! Happy bday, Lorraine! ❤ 🎉🎁🎂🍰 🍷🥂🍾”.
On today's episode of Lorraine, guests and presenters were keen to spoil the show's host. Andi Peters serenaded her with a short rendition of 'Happy Birthday' before offering her a gift from Gary Barlow who she had been to see backstage at his tour.
Guest Rylan Clark then surprised Lorraine with her daughter's puppy, Ruby. Adorable!
