Don’t look now, but the Washington Football Team is in the playoff hunt. After Monday’s 17-15 win over the Seahawks, Washington improved to 5-6 and moved into the seventh and final NFC playoff spot.

Despite the final score, Washington dominated the game. The Seahawks only moved the ball on the WFT defense on two possessions, both of which they scored. However, outside of that, Washington’s defense held Russell Wilson and Seattle to 267 total yards, over 80 of which came on the final drive.

Washington’s offense possessed the ball for almost 42 minutes, as running back Antonio Gibson rushed for 111 yards, and J.D. McKissic scored both of the WFT touchdowns.

Quarterback Taylor Heinicke was terrific again, completing 27 of 35 passes for 223 yards and a touchdown.
