EHS offers grief counseling to students over the fatal shooting of a fellow student

ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — On Monday, Enterprise High School Principal, Stan Sauls tells WDHN News that grief counselors were on hand for any students who were having emotional difficulty following the death of Myquell Smith.

Last Wednesday, the 15-year-old ninth grader was a passenger in a vehicle that was shot at in a deadly shooting in the 100 Block of Thompson Street in Enterprise.

We’re told he was well-liked and was quickly making a name for himself on the Wildcat football team as a
strong safety.

One family member of the victim tells WDHN that it’s such a needless tragedy and that too many young people are pulling out guns trying to settle differences.
