Wilson Marseilles, director, investors and marketing for the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce, has been selected by the Arkansas Economic Developers and Chamber Executives (AEDCE) for their November Member Spotlight.

The announcement, made by Shelley Short, executive director, AEDCE, in Little Rock, noted that, “in addition to his regular responsibilities of directing membership, education and economic development at the Chamber, Wilson aspires to be a go-giver focused on providing value to others and an entrepreneur encouraging innovative thinking and creativity from within their organization.”

Bob Largent, Chamber President/CEO, said, “Wilson has jumped into the multi-faceted Chamber world and is making a very positive difference in our community. Working across myriad organizations, he’s taken the Workforce Initiative Network to its next level, and developed the Chamber’s leadership programs to equal any across the state.” Largent added, “He’s also responsible for our communications and online presence and has more than doubled the reach and engagement the past two years.”

Marseilles said, “I’m honored to receive this recognition from my peers, and look forward to learning more about our industry in the years ahead.” In response to a question from AEDCE about the one thing he’s most proud of about his tenure with the Chamber, Marseilles responded, “Our ability to convene the right people to the table when it comes to partnerships in education, manufacturing, workforce, city leadership."

Largent added, “Wilson is a tremendous asset, not only to the Chamber and our economic development work, but to the community as a whole! It’s no wonder that he’s received the AEDCE member spotlight!”
