TREGO COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 7:30p.m. Monday in Trego County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Chevy Camaro driven by Braden D. Leitner, 22, Hays, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just west of the Ogallah exit.
The Camaro rear-ended a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Miyo M.M. Alexander, 42, Yuma, Arizona. The impact forced the van into the south ditch where it rolled and came to rest on the driver's side.
EMS transported Alexander to Hays Medical Center. Leitner was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
