DEAR BONNIE: Can you print that poem that you wrote about Christmas in heaven? I want to give it to a friend who is missing her dad this year as he passed, and she is having a hard time. — Julie

DEAR JULIE: My Pleasure. I hope it helps.

CHRISTMAS IN HEAVEN

I know you are missing me

I know I miss you too

When you think of me this Christmas

I’ll be thinking of you too

I know it won’t be easy

I see the tears

I know it won’t be quite the same

As all the other years

When you think of me this Christmas

You honor all our love

All the years of joy and fun

It can never be undone

Nothing can break the bond of love

That we have for each other

For I am not really gone

And we still have each other

When you think of me this Christmas

Try to remember

Stories of Christmas past

That we have spent together

Don’t be afraid to have a giggle or a laugh

Of memories gone by,

As those are the ties that holds

Me, always close by your side.

And it’s signed

Merry Christmas

Your Love
