WWE Mocks The Recent Releases On Monday’s RAW

WWE appeared to mock some of the recent releases during Monday’s episode of RAW.

During a contract signing that involved Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch for their match for the RAW Women’s Championship that will be taking place on next week’s episode of RAW, Liv Morgan told Becky Lynch the following,

“You’re the reason why your friend is gone just like the reason why your big, fat greedy contract is the reason why MY friends are gone. How does it feel knowing you’ve become everything you despised?”

Later in the show, Edge was cutting a promo on the returning Miz where he referenced The Miz taking time off from WWE to go participate in Dancing with the Stars and leaving his partner (John Morrison) “high and dry to get fired.” Edge said,

“The biggest difference between you and I is that I fought with every fiber of my being to get this small window back. Where you …. you used this to get notoriety to get your next endeavor, for your next reality show, for your dance competition …. while you leave your partner high and dry to get fired!”

Since WrestleMania 37, WWE has made massive cuts in May, June, July, August and November. There have been more than 125 wrestlers, as well as hundreds of office staff released ever since the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020. While the releases continue to happen, WWE continues to report record profits and informs those being released that they are being done due to “budget cuts.”
