SES closes out 2021 with a Christmas show on December 18 at the Maritim Hotel in Magdeburg with cruiserweight Roman Fress (14-0) defending the WBO I-C title against an opponent to be announced. 

In the co-feature light heavyweight Michael Eifert (8-1) will go for the German title.

As for next year SES have the rights to promote the fight for the vacant EBU heavyweight title between Marco Huck and Agit Kabayel. Date and site is to be announced.

Danish cruiserweight Ditlev Rossing (14-0) takes on South African veteran and two time IBO champ Thomas Oosthuizen (29-3-2) January 7 in Brondby with the vacant IBF Int'l title at stake. 

However, just when Danish Fight Night sent out the press release announcing this fight there were travel restrictions announced for countries in southern Africa due to the sudden development of a Covid-19 mutation. How that will affect this fight is an open question. 

Rossing-Oosthuizen is the third title fight on this DFN bill that also feature Enoch Poulsen vs Massi Tachour for the vacant EBU title and Sarah Mahfoud vs Nina Meinke in a defense of the Sarah's IBF featherweight title.

Cruiserweight Simen Nysaether (10-0) squares off Swedish champ Samo Jangirov (7-2-1) on December 29 in Oslo, Norway. It's the second time these two fight and Simen won the first time around after a tough, close fight.

EC Boxing has signed up heavyweight Igor Shevadutskyi (8-0, 8 KO's) from Ukraine. Shevadutskyi is known as "The Hulk" and if you see pictures of him you understand why. The Ukrainian was discovered by EC as he came to Hamburg to spar with Christian Hammer and Viktor Faust.

Covid-19 continues to rage through Europe and Austria is one the countries that is worst off right now with a strong lockdown in effect. This means that Marcus Arsumanjan's defense of the EU middleweight title against Marcos Nader on December 4 in Vienna is postponed.

Danish heavyweight Kem Ljungquist, 10-0 as a pro, is back fighting as an amateur and won the national championship this past weekend.

Ljungquist and Wasserman Sports / Team Sauerland parted ways earlier this year and Kem is currently a freelancer but plans to continue his pro career.
