High school senior in Wilson County dies in weekend motorcycle crash

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WZTV) —
A Middle Tennessee teen was killed in a motorcycle wreck over Thanksgiving weekend, FOX 17 News has learned.

Gavin Cole was a senior at Green Hill High School in Mt. Juliet. A spokesperson for the Wilson County Schools district says the 18-year-old died Sunday in a motorcycle crash.
According to a preliminary crash report from Tennessee Highway Patrol, Cole was traveling East on Central Pike when he struck a Honda CRV driven by a 71-year-old woman who was traveling North on South Rutland Road from Stockbridge Way. The other driver was not injured.
