The Golden State Warriors are finally set to get Klay Thompson back sometime before Christmas. The five-time All-Star has been ramping up his rehab ahead of his highly-anticipated season debut, which now includes his first scrimmage session with the Santa Cruz Warriors.

Here's a look at Thompson putting in a full practice with the Warriors' G League affiliate (h/t Santa Cruz Warriors on Twitter):

Klay Thompson is definitely looking sharp, and based on this clip alone, it is clear that he's now in the best shape he has been over the past two years. Needless to say, the 31-year-old appears to be more than ready to make his much-awaited comeback for the Warriors.

Be that as it may, it is also clear that Golden State will be extremely cautious with their sharp-shooting two-guard. Thompson has sat out the past two seasons so the Dubs will likely ease him back to action once he returns. Nevertheless, Klay is still expected to make a huge impact for the Warriors once he's back up to full speed.

The Dubs have the best record in the NBA right now and Thompson's return should only boost their title hopes this season. Scary hours indeed.
