North Carolina Statewide Burn Ban

A statewide burn ban is in effect for North Carolina until further notice.

As of Monday, November 29th there is a burn ban in effect across the state of North Carolina until further notice.

According to NCDA&CS, North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Service, ” Under North Carolina law, the ban prohibits all open burning in affected counties, regardless of whether a permit was previously issued.” This burn ban includes all outdoor burning other than grills. With gusty winds, low relative humidity and dry brush fire could spread quickly. We can expect these conditions through the week.
