Judge Steve Harvey‘s court is in session.
ABC has released a promo for the new one-hour unscripted courtroom comedy series, premiering Tuesday, Jan. 4 at 8/7c.
In the program, “real-life people with real-life conflicts will present their case in [Harvey’s] courtroom, ranging from family disputes, unpaid bets, sour friendships and everything in between,” per the official description. “With the help of Nancy, his trusted bailiff by trade, Steve plays by his own rules, basing his courtroom on his own life experiences and some good old common sense.”

Which of today’s TVLine Items pique your interest?
Although Steve Harvey is very funny hosting Family Feud I hate when he gets spread too thin! Lord I bet this will be very funny!!
I couldn’t care less if Steve Harvey’s new show is funny. Unless he has a legitimate law degree, he’ll be making a mockery of the Judicial System. If doesn’t have a law degree, then I hope his show tanks.
What?? Do you think he’ll be presiding over murder, assault, and drug cases?😂 It’s a comedy.
I’m guessing it’ll be more like mediation or arbitration than even the small claims court stuff usually found in these shows. So I suspect much less of a mockery of the Judicial System than you expect. Even the description says he’ll be going by life experience and common sense rather than the rule of law,
The last thing we need is Steve Harvey pretending to be a judge.
Just looking at photos of Ivanna Sakhno (and recalling her role in The Spy Who Dumped Me), she’d make an AMAZING live action Asajj Ventress.
But I know the character is canonically dead by the time period of the series, so they’d either have to retcon or put her in flashbacks.
Oh, wow, she really would.
Who would you guess is on TV more hours in any given week…. Steve Harvey or Anthony Anderson? It’s gotta be close.
Are the Plaintiff and Defendant actors and not real cases?
Did you read the story at all, or just go straight to the video?
Interesting to see a second season of “Around the World in 80 Days”, wonder what they’ll do, assuming that they actually complete the journey in the first season.
OMG. Judge WACKNER of The Good Fight, become reality..
This will be a dangerous thing for social structure.
I used to find him funny until he became the biggest man-splainer EVER! Talks about women and how we can’t find a “good man” without his advice, he’s so condescending and YET his own daughter is one of the biggest gold diggers on the planet. Splain that Steve?
Judge Steve Harvey on a scale of 1-10, I give it a negative 10 the show SUCKS!!!! Steve should just stick to hosting Family Feud.
Life is to short to be so angry. You’re finding fault with someone working and bringing
laughter.
