Lila Moss attended the Fashion Awards 2021 wearing Burberry – a fitting choice for a young model whose legacy is steeped in British fashion history. Lila’s supermodel mother has had countless major Burberry moments over the years – it was the brand’s spring 2004 show that lured Kate back to the runway following a three-year hiatus when she became a mother, and when Riccardo Tisci collaborated with Vivienne Westwood after taking the helm at Burberry in 2018, Mossy was the obvious choice to front the campaign.
Now, Kate’s 19-year-old daughter is forging her own relationship with the house. To attend the ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall as Tisci’s guest, Lila wore a monochrome cow-print dress from Burberry’s spring 2022 collection, beneath a slogan-print sheer sleeveless top. She carried a canvas Rhombi clutch and finished the look with black leather sandals with split-toe detail.
After posing for pictures with a Fendi-clad Demi Moore on the red carpet, Moss and friend Stella Jones joined fellow models Fran Summers and Nyasha Matonhodz, along with make-up artist Isamaya French and stylist KK Obi on Tisci’s table.
Lila is fast becoming a fixture on the runways as well as the red carpet, having made her debut at Miu Miu’s spring 2021 show last October. Since then, she’s joined her mother in family friend Kim Jones’s first Fendi Haute Couture presentation, and helped to make the Fendace show at Milan Fashion Week something of a family affair, too.
