According to the Daily Journal, the 63-year-old actor added former assistant US attorney Aaron Dyer to his legal team in the midst of the lawsuits that have been filed against him.

Earlier this month, it was reported that the film’s script supervisor Mamie Mitchell filed a suit against Baldwin for “intentionally” firing the gun that wounded diretor Joel Souza and left Halyna Hutchins dead.

On October 21, the Drunk Parents actor pulled the trigger on a prop gun that was mysteriously loaded with live ammunition instead of the blank rounds that film sets commonly use.

Baldwin was reportedly told that the gun was “cold,” meaning it didn’t contain any live rounds, when he accidentally fired a bullet that went through Hutchins’ chest and also hit Souza in the shoulder.

Mitchel claimed in his suit that he is suffering from emotional trauma after being the first person to call 911 when Hutchins was hit with the bullet, alleging that Baldwin and other staffers ignored the set’s safety protocols.

Mitchell — who is being represented by Gloria Allred — is suing for an unspecified amount to compensate for the loss of future earnings, general and punitive damages and legal fees.

Baldwin, along with the film’s assistant director David Halls and lead armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed have also been named in a lawsuit filed by the film’s gaffer Serge Svetnoy, who claims to have suffered from emotional distress after the bullet fired from the prop gun nearly hit him.

It is still unclear whether or not Baldwin will be found responsible for the deadly mistake that occurred on the set of the Western film, although law enforcement officials have previously stated that the actor, along with Halls and Gutierrez-Reed, are all at the focus of the investigation.

The widower will be in attendance at WrapWomen’s Power Women Summit in Beverly Hills, Calif., where he will reportedly acknowledge a tribute video dedicated to his wife, per Page Six.

The outlet also reported that the American Film Institute has already established a scholarship in Hutchins’ name, and that WrapWomen will be announcing a donation made in her name.
