Wednesday, November 24th

8:38am: An officer covered a Car vs. Deer Accident at 235th and Kirkwood. A deer jumped from the ditch and struck the front of a trailer. The 2016 Diamond Cargo Trailer was owned by John McConnell of Jefferson. The trailer received an estimated $850.00 in damages. The tow vehicle was not damaged.

9:55am: Patty Slattery requested a Welfare Check on a subject in the 300 Block of East Madison Street. The officer learned the subject had been deceased for several months and provided Slattery with the information.

5:44pm: Officers assisted the Medical Examiner with a Death Investigation at 700 East Lincoln Way Street.

10:00pm: Michelle Guzman reported Loud Music in the 500 Block of East Monroe Street. The officer searched the area, but did not locate anything.

Thursday, November 25th

12:01am: Airicka Scheuermann reported an Audible Alarm ringing at 104 North Locust Street. An officer met a Key Holder at the business. A search of the building so all was fine. The alarm was reset.

1:02pm: Lisa Kuhl reported a male suspicious male sitting in his vehicle at 102 South Grimmell Road. The officer spoke to the subject, who was waiting for a friend to arrive.

7:35pm: Marlon Purdie reported a vehicle’s alarm was going off in the parking lot at 115 West State Street. The officer did not locate anyone in the area.

11:25pm: A Traffic Stop at Grimmell and Central resulted in Brian Hardaway of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”

Friday, November 26th

12:38am: An officer located an Open Door at 501 West Greenewood Road. The building was secured by the officer.

2:36am: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 300 Block of North Maple Street for, “Parking Across Sidewalk.”

8:11am: A resident advised of a possible Scam Phone Call. A male called and advised her that he wanted to purchase her home and would pay in cash. The caller ended the call, as she suspected it was a scam. She gave no information to the caller.

9:07am: Elvin Thompson turned in a purse he had located in the 700 Block of West Harrison Street. The officer contacted the owner of the purse, who picked it up from the LEC. She advised she had lost it, and nothing was missing from it.

2:07pm: Kyle Cuddy reported an Unwanted Subject staying in his basement at 504 South Olive Street. The officer mediated the issue with Cuddy.

5:17pm: Ashley Estell reported a one-year-old locked in her vehicle at 701 North Cedar Street. The officer unlocked the vehicle.

6:25pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 700 Block of Wild Rose Lane.

Saturday, November 27th

5:18am: An officer assisted a Semi/Hog Trailer that had broken down at Elm and Lincoln Way. The officer provided traffic control until another truck arrived to off load the hogs. The semi/trailer was towed away after the cargo was removed.

1:53pm: Melinda Madison reported a Parking Issue in the 100 Block of North Walnut Street. The officer determined that no ordinances were being violated.

8:32pm: Casey’s requested an officer at 508 North Elm Street for an Unruly Customer. The subject had left the business before the officer’s arrival.

10:13pm: An officer assisted a driver with Mechanical Issues near Elm and 220 th Street.

10:31pm: An officer assisted a deputy with a Traffic Stop and arrest in the 700 Block of Wild Rose Lane.

Sunday, November 28th

**** Only Routine Patrol and Duties Reported.

8:41pm: A Traffic Stop near Elm and 250 th Street resulted in Fransico Valles Roman of OK. being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
