Spencer Rattler was a Heisman Trophy favorite to start the season, but he was ultimately benched in favor of Caleb Williams.

On Monday, Rattler announced on social media that he plans to enter the transfer portal and move on from Oklahoma.

Rattler missed 3 games this season, but overall collected 1,483 yards passing on a 74.9 completion percentage with 11 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. He thanked Oklahoma for the last 3 seasons, and he thanked his family and friends and God for football, which he said brings communities together more than anything.

Rattler began the season as a first-team preseason All-American quarterback and was favored to become Oklahoma’s third Heisman Trophy winner in 5 years.
