Four homes evacuated in North Austin after gas line struck

Homes in a North Austin neighborhood were evacuated Monday afternoon after a gas line was struck, according to the Austin Fire Department.

It happened just after noon near the the intersection of Fawnridge and North drives, southwest of the intersection of I-35 and Rundberg Lane.
AFD said four homes had been evacuated.
Crews with Texas Gas Service were at the scene to stop the leak.
