Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Christmas is getting closer, so it won't be long before the official spoilers, pictures and gossip for this year's festive episodes are released.
While many of the details are still being kept under wraps, though, early teasers are already doing the rounds for each of the soaps to whet our appetites.
Today, we're taking an early look at what to expect from Emmerdale this Christmas.
1. A festive flashback
We all know that Emmerdale bosses are fond of playing with time when it comes to their bigger episodes, and it seems that Christmas will be no exception.
Show chiefs have teased that the villagers wake up to a thin dusting of what appears to be snow on Christmas morning, but everything may not be as it seems. A flashback then takes viewers back a few hours to help us understand what really happened.
2. The tables turn on Al
Al has recently been calling all of the shots at The Woolpack as he tried to drive through major changes at the business, all with the aim of sabotaging the pub and turning the building into luxury flats. However, Chas, Marlon and Paddy now know exactly what he's up to.
The tables continue to turn on Al over the coming weeks, as he finds himself under serious pressure and struggling with financial issues. Will he find a solution or could his whole world collapse? With new villain Gavin never far away, the stakes are high.
3. Harriet plans major changes
Harriet has often questioned her future at the church ever since her involvement in the grisly death of DI Malone. In the coming weeks, she'll go ahead with a decision she has been considering for a while – re-applying for the police force.
Harriet sees this as a fresh start in her life and is hopeful for what the new year will bring, but will everything go as she hopes?
4. Sam tries to reunite his family
A major rift has been teased for the Dingle family in the coming weeks, with the tensions likely to revolve around Ben's recent death and suspicions that Liv could have been responsible.
The fallout affects Sam and Lydia's marriage, but as Christmas gets closer, Sam is determined to make things right again. Can he reunite his loved ones in time for December 25?
5. Meena causes more danger
Serial killer Meena is still on the loose in Emmerdale and has shown no mercy in recent months, so everyone should be watching their backs over the festive season.
Emmerdale has teased that Dawn is someone who needs to be careful over Christmas, which is perhaps no surprise since she and Meena are love rivals for Billy. Dawn could certainly be playing with fire when she plants a kiss on Billy during the holidays.
But could other villagers also be in danger before the week is over?
6. A Christmas proposal
Christmas is a time for bringing people together, so expect some heartwarming scenes as love is on the cards for some of the villagers.
Although there's a Christmas proposal, jealousy looms large among others.
7. Liam hits the bottle
Christmas will be a tough time for Liam, as it's his first one without his beloved daughter Leanna.
Liam hits the bottle to make it through the occasion, turning to wine for comfort. However, there's trouble when he has to be rescued and may be in danger.
8. A fire?
While show bosses haven't confirmed this, rumours are rife that The Woolpack could burn down over the festive season. According to reports on Metro, scenes have been filmed for early 2022 showing the pub burned-out and boarded up.
Does this mean Al gets his wish to destroy the business?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
