WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WJAR) —
The West Warwick Police Department said a car crashed into a fire hydrant on Jaycee Drive on Monday morning.

A viewer provided a video capturing the aftermath of the crash, showing water running down the street.

Police said the fire hydrant was in the area of 21 Jaycee Drive near the intersection at Rotary Drive.
It was a single-vehicle crash and there were no injuries.
Kent County Water also responded to the scene. Police reported "significant" damage to the fire hydrant.
