Two Alabama football reserves enter NCAA transfer portal

Two Alabama football reserves have entered the transfer portal, The Tuscaloosa News has learned. 

Offensive lineman Pierce Quick and linebacker Jackson Bratton have both entered their names recently. 

Quick has seen limited playing time in each of his three seasons with the Crimson Tide. Bratton has not seen the field for Alabama. 

Quick, a Trussville native, was a four-star prospect in high school, according to the 247Sports composite. He was the No. 7 offensive tackle in the 2019 class. 

Quick played in one game this season, logging three snaps in the opener. He also saw time in three games in 2020 with 12 snaps total. 

As a freshman, Quick played in four games: Duke, South Carolina, New Mexico State and Southern Miss. 

Bratton was also a four-star prospect coming out of high school, He was the No. 10 inside linebacker for the 2020 class. He's a Muscle Shoals native. 

Other Alabama players to have recently entered their names in the transfer portal includes receiver Xavier Williams and cornerback Marcus Banks.
