PSG's Neymar out up to two months with ankle injury

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar is expected to miss six to eight weeks after sustaining an ankle injury over the weekend, ESPN reported.

The Brazilian international star sustained ligament damage in his left ankle late in Sunday's match against Saint-Etienne and had to be stretchered off of the pitch.

Not surprisingly, Neymar is already planning a triumphant return. He assured fans in a Portuguese-written Instagram post that injuries are part of the job and that he will come back "better and stronger".

PSG went on to win Sunday's match 3-1. They currently sit atop Ligue 1 with a 12-point cushion.
