Megan Thee Stallion makes surprise appearance at BTS show for ‘Butter’ remix

Worlds collided onstage as Megan Thee Stallion and BTS perform the latter group’s hit remix of “Butter.”

The K-pop sensations hosted the “Body” rapper on Sunday during the second of their two-night stop in Los Angeles for their “Permission to Dance on Stage” tour.

Megan showed up in a silky, baby-pink romper with bell sleeves and thigh-high boots, all embellished with bows for her verse on “Butter” before joining BTS for the final refrain.

Her drop-in was ostensibly a rain-checked dual performance, as the Houston-based artist was due to appear on stage with BTS at the 2021 American Music Awards last weekend — hosted by none other than “WAP” collaborator Cardi B — but canceled due to an undisclosed, “unexpected personal matter.”

She tweeted at the time, “I’m so sad! I really can’t wait to hit the stage with my guys and perform #BTS_Butter real soon!”

Fans attending the show shared clips and images of the epic on-stage duet.

Their LA twofer on Nov. 27 and 28 marked the boy band’s first in-person shows in two years and will be followed by two more back-to-back concerts on Dec. 1 and 2.

BTS took home the AMA’s crystalline pyramid trophy for Artist of the Year, as well as top honors in categories for Favorite Pop Duo or Group and Favorite Pop Song for “Butter.”

Megan, too, swept up a total of three awards at the ceremony, including Favorite Female Hip-Hop Artist, Favorite Trending Song for 2020’s “Body” and Favorite Hip-Hop Album for her sophomore full-length record, “Good News.”
