Jeopardy! champion Amy Schneider has one big reason she hates winning the quiz show so much — and it’s still pretty heartwarming. The winner has been on an incredible streak, coming in hot with seven days worth of victories in a row. This is the third major streak that’s happened on Jeopardy! in the past few months, so we’re pretty confident the new Alex Trebek Stage is blessed. There is, however, one glaring downside to losing: you have to say goodbye to new competitors all the time.

That’s the snag Schneider says she keeps hitting week after week on the show. The contestant has been candid about her Jeopardy! experience for her entire run on the series, sharing quirks, embarrassing moments, and how she’s been on this path to victory again and again. And after her seventh straight win on the show, she took to social media to express one aspect that’s been getting her down.

“The one thing that sucks about Jeopardy is that for me to win, the other contestants have to lose,” Schneider wrote. “Madeline was a very nice person as I said, and as a viewer watching at home, I would have loved to see her go on a run of her own (no offense to Dan btw). But I don’t want to lose!”

Thanks to Schneider’s tweeting, we’ve gotten to really peek into what it’s like to film Jeopardy! as a whole. She also shared how it felt to film and win all five competitions in one day.

“I’d done it!” she wrote. “I’d won the full five games in a taping day, and I’d get to come back tomorrow! I was excited, relieved, and exhausted, but overall it just felt great!”

The champ has become a fan favorite from her very first win. Schneider, who is a transgender woman, won for the first time during Transgender Awareness Week, leading to an outpouring of support from Jeopardy! viewers. As Thanksgiving rolled around last week, the competitor opened up about a special addition to her outfit that celebrated trans rights.

“It was the trans flag pin,” she said. “Thanksgiving is a time for family. Sadly, it’s still true that a lot of trans people that that can be difficult for them, that they can have a difficult relationship with their families. I’m fortunate enough not to have that issue myself, but I know it’s out there. I just wanted to send that message of support.”

Jeopardy! airs weeknights on ABC at 7/6c.
