What you need to know

  • Early copies of Halo Infinite are sprouting up in the wild, opening the doors for campaign spoilers.
  • Be wary of campaign story spoilers at the obvious places including comment sections and forums.
  • The upcoming title is set to launch on Dec. 8 on Xbox consoles and PC, with day-one inclusion with Xbox Game Pass.

Halo Infinite is easily one of the most highly anticipated titles of 2021 within Microsoft's Xbox Game Studios family. While slated to launch on Dec. 8, the title appears to be in circulation a little ahead of schedule, with some physical copies now in the wild. Broken street dates aren't uncommon for AAA titles and Halo Infinite is the latest victim now on the streets.

While it's unclear where the game has leaked out early, this does mean that anyone with an Xbox console can easily play the game, if they get their hands on the physical copy early. It could signal that more spoilers lay ahead of the campaign debut, with a chance of appearing among comments sections and forums, over the week before launch.
