Bengals’ quarterback Joe Burrow looks to throw agains the Steelers in the second quarter on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021 at Paul Brown Stadium.

Bullied by the Bengals.

What more is there to say?

The Bengals rolled over to the Steelers Sunday in dominating fashion. Cincinnati is making a playoff push. Pittsburgh is making a push for an offseason team overhaul.

Still, we checked in with writers in Cincinnati after the 41-10 home win.

“Sunday’s game was the Bengals’ best offensive performance of the season,” wrote Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer. “From the opening drive that started with a heavy dose of Joe Mixon, Cincinnati imposed its will on Pittsburgh for the entire game.”

Bungles no more.

The newspaper described Sunday as a “landscape changing win.”

“The Bengals finally have a brighter future than their biggest rival,” Conway wrote. “With Ben Roethlisberger nearing the end of his career and Joe Burrow just getting started, the Bengals haven’t had such an advantage over their biggest rival in the Paul Brown Stadium Era.”

The Bengals swept the season series for the first time since 2009.

“Not only was it a win, but it was a complete domination in all phases,” Nick Manchester wrote for Cincy Jungle. “While Joe Mixon had 165 rushing yards, the Bengals kept the Steelers to only 141 total yards against the Bengals’ first-string defense.”

There would be no video clips of depressed Bengals fans leaving the game early on that escalator at Paul Brown Stadium.

“How many times have the Who Dey faithful been subjected to beatdowns at the hands of the Steelers? Maybe not by 31 points, but there have been numerous occasions wherein Cincinnati was physically dominated by the Steelers,” Anthony Cosenza wrote for the Cincy Jungle. “Not so much lately, as the Bengals have won the last three against Pittsburgh—a feat they hadn’t achieved in 31 years. The average margin of victory by the Bengals in those three games? That would be 18.3 points.”
