Light Opera of New Jersey Unveils Cast for ‘La Bohème’ Production

Light Opera of New Jersey has announced the cast for its upcoming production of “La Bohème.”

Soprano Molly Dunn will headline the production as Mimì with Jeremy Brauner as Rodolfo. In the role of Musetta, audiences will hear Gina Hanzlik. Meanwhile, Jason Detwiler will perform as Marcello. Rounding out the cast will be Suchan Kim as Schaunard and Gennadiy Vysotsky as Colline.

The opera will be conducted by Jason Tramm and directed by Andrea DelGiudice.

“I am delighted to collaborate with these talented professional artists as we bring Puccini’s great masterpiece to life in a fresh, modern adaptation by our talented director, Andrea DelGiudice. We are thrilled to take the stage for our first production since the pandemic and can’t wait to bring professional opera/operetta and Musical Theater to audiences in Basking Ridge and beyond,” Tramm said in an official press statement.

Performances are set for Feb. 11-20, 2022 at the Fellowship Village Cultural Arts Center in Basking Ridge. There will also be a performance at the South Orange Performing Arts Center on March 27, 2022.
