It appears former USC star Reggie Bush is a big fan of the Trojans hiring Lincoln Riley as their new head coach.

After a long search for the next tactician to catapult them back to contention, USC landed one of the most sought-after coaches in the college football ranks in Riley. The 38-year-old coach left the Oklahoma Sooners to join the proud school known for fielding competitive teams across all sports.

After learning of the news, Bush took to Twitter to express his optimism about the Trojans, noting that “the future is bright” for USC.

Reggie Bush played for USC from 2003 to 2005. He is undoubtedly one of the best players to come out from the program, crafting a lengthy NFL career that saw him win a Super Bowl and make it to the New Orleans Saints' Hall of Fame list.

For what it's worth, it's not only Bush who endorsed the hiring. Former USC quarterback Matt Leinart was also ecstatic about Riley's move to USC, and it's evident on his tweet.

USC has already made the Lincoln Riley hiring official, and the former Oklahoma Sooners coach shared his excitement to join the team. He had a 50-10 record during his time in Oklahoma, and hopes are high he can replicate the same level of success with the Trojans–or even better.

“USC has an unparalleled football tradition with tremendous resources and facilities, and the administration has made a deep commitment to winning. I look forward to honoring that successful tradition and building on it,” Riley said.

The work starts now for Riley, and sure enough, all eyes will be on him as he tries to work his magic.
